The California Cake Decorating Club (now known as The California Cake Club or 3Cs) was formed in December 1980 in Anaheim, California, by The Cake Lady, Frances Kuyper. We are a not-for-profit organization working to educate people regarding all sugar related activities. We aren’t just a “cake” club. We explore all aspects of the confectionery arts here in California. At our meetings we learn about cake decorating, cookie decorating, chocolate work, isomalt show pieces and whatever our members want to learn about. We love learning new techniques for what we are passionate about.
The California Cake Club is all about education, we give generous scholarships to members at our general meetings. Scholarships that can be used to pursue your passion for the sugar arts.
We hold our general meetings at least four times per year throughout the state. We are always looking for new locations for our meetings. If you are interested in hosting a California Cake Club meeting, please read more about the requirements here.
