There are many different clubs, groups and events occurring in and around California that focus on cake decorating and other sugar arts.  There are also countless supply and class locations throughout the state.

These are just a few of the different groups that the California Cake Club’s members also participate in:

 

Contra Costa County – Contra Costa Cake and Sugar Art Society   Located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California CCCSAS shares, promotes, encourages and spreads the appreciation & practice of the art of cake decorating and all confectionery art forms. We meet at 7 PM the second Thursday of every month at a location announced on our web site http://www.cccsas.org For more information contact us via email at contact@cccsas.org

Fremont –Fremont Frosters Cake Club   is an organization designed for anyone interested in sugar arts to share interests and ideas with others. Founded in 1966, our club has experienced over 40 years of friendship with several founding members still active today! We meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 1301 Mowry Avenue, Fremont, CA. Each meeting consists of a business meeting, a demonstration, and sharing. San Francisco Bay area – California Cookie Cutter Collectors’ Club members are home bakers and professionals with an interest in cookie shapers and the baking and decorating of cookies. We meet four times a year around the San Francisco Bay area and, whether living near or far, keep up to date on cutters and cookies via a private email forum and web site. Silicon Valley  – Sweet Things of Silicon Valley Cake Club, formed in 2007, welcomes decorators of any skill level with an interest in all things sweet. Some of us are instructors, many members are students, and several are decorators with decades of experience to share. We are centered in the South San Jose Area and enjoy field trips, gatherings, demonstrations and classes. Social meetups are usually held the last Wednesday of each month in or around San Jose which include a short member demonstration, sharing and discussion.  Membership dues are $25 per year. California CFO/SB Cake & Cookie Design Club – for home and small business bakers where we share design techniques as well as strategies for growing a business.  We meet the 4th Monday of every even numbered month at 6pm in Davis, CA.  $5 contribution per attendee to cover operational expenses.  Contact Claudia at ClaudiaMarieDesign@ymail.com for more information.
